Whenever a small, lightweight, inconspicuous microphone for top-quality recording is required, a d:dicate™ 4006C Microphone is the right choice. They come as a hand-matched pair that offers the truest capture of stereo sound available.
Even though the standard tolerances on our d:dicate™ microphones are extremely low, a stereo match is even closer. These specially selected d:dicate™ 4006C microphones are matched within ±0.5 dB on both frequency response and sensitivity.

The pair comes in a heavy-duty Peli™ Case for safe transportation and easy access to the microphones and accessories.
 
The mic capsule

The MMC4006 Omnidirectional Microphone Capsule offers total transparency in any recording situation. It picks up incredible detail and depth of sound. The definition of its high-frequency characteristics across a wide range of instruments is impressive. It offers natural sound, high sensitivity, low noise-floor and extremely linear frequency response from 10 to 20 kHz (±2 dB).

A selection of accessories is available, including acoustic pressure equalizers, a nose cone and interchangeable protection grids. These accessories can acoustically transform the mic. By changing grids, it is possible to gain several unique frequency responses and directional characteristics from the mic. Furthermore, these accessories will not produce any phase shift, noise or distortion that would otherwise be introduced by an electrical filter.
 
A truly flexible range

The d:dicate™ 4006C Omnidirectional Microphone, Compact is part of the flexible d:dicate™ Microphones Series. It combines the MMC4006 Omnidirectional Capsule with the MMP-C compact preamplifier. This combination offers a subtle character alteration with a bit more “body” to the low end than the d:dicate™ 4006A Omnidirectional Microphone.

Another option, for the true audiophile, is the d:dicate™ 4006A Omnidirectional Microphone. It offers low distortion and totally accurate and faithful sound.

At any time, and with no tools needed, it is possible to transform the d:dicate™ 4006C Omnidirectional Microphone, Compact into a new configuration. You can combine it with another d:dicate™ or d:facto™ Microphone Capsule or Preamplifier.

The d:dicate™ 4006C Omnidirectional Microphone, Compact is also available individually.
